Cookie Policy
Revised October 2026
Cookies are small text files a site leaves on your device. This page lists the ones that can turn up while you read Toyota Readout, who puts them there, and how to keep them in check. For the wider data picture, see the Privacy Policy.
Our own cookies: none
The pages themselves drop zero cookies of their own on your device. Page counting runs through our own self-hosted, cookie-free analytics, which also honors your browser's Do Not Track flag.
Ad cookies
The ads are the one gauge on this panel we don't wire ourselves. They come from Google AdSense, and the ad service on Google's end may drop cookies or similar identifiers to run them, meter them and, where the law allows, tune them to your earlier visits here and on other sites. Google documents the rest in its partner-sites policy; personalization settings live in My Ad Center. If you're reading from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, a consent message from Google comes up before personalized ads are used, and your hand is on the switch: consent, don't consent, or manage the options.
Outbound links
Follow a link off the site — an Amazon parts link, a NHTSA lookup — and the destination's own cookie rules take over from there.
Keeping them in check
Your browser can block or clear cookies whenever you like. Shut out Google's ad cookies and the ads may read as less relevant to you; every guide and code readout on the site still works exactly the same.
